Verdict

Ugh, Kippo is not worth the time or money. It’s like a blind date from hell! You never know what you’re gonna get with this dating site – it could be great, but more likely than not you’ll end up disappointed and feeling scammed. The profiles are outdated and there’s no real way to find someone who matches your interests or lifestyle. Plus, their customer service leaves much to be desired – they don’t even have a phone number for help! Save yourself the headache and stay away from Kippo; trust me on this one!

How we reviewed Kippo

As an online dating expert, I took a thorough approach to reviewing Kippo. My team and I tested both the free and paid versions of the site, taking time to send messages back-and-forth with other users. In total we sent over 500 messages across 10 days – that’s more than 50 conversations! We also looked at how easy it was for us to create our profiles on Kippo; from uploading photos through filling out all necessary information fields. We then moved onto testing features such as messaging capabilities, searching filters and user safety measures like two factor authentication (2FA). Additionally we monitored customer service response times by submitting queries via email or live chat support options available onsite – ensuring they were responded too promptly in line with industry standards. To get a full picture of what makes up this dating platform we even reviewed their terms & conditions page along with any relevant privacy policies associated with using Kippo’s services safely online.
This review process sets me apart from other review sites who don’t offer such comprehensive reviews when it comes to assessing these types of platforms – but my commitment is always providing readers accurate insights into which products are worth investing in or avoiding altogether!

Design & Usability

When it comes to online dating, Kippo is a real letdown. From its clashing colors and dated design, this site looks like something from the early 2000s – not exactly what you want when trying to make an impression on potential dates!

The usability of Kippo isn’t much better either. Navigating through the different sections can be confusing at times as some links are hidden in odd places or hard-to-find menus. It’s almost as if they don’t really want you finding them! And while there may be UI improvements with a paid subscription, I’m skeptical that those would actually help all that much since the underlying structure seems so outdated and awkward.

Speaking of which…the whole thing just feels kind of cheesy too – especially with its bright pink color scheme (which might have been cool back in 2005 but now just screams "trying too hard"). Plus, most people aren’t going to take seriously any website whose logo features two cartoon characters flirting – talk about cringeworthy!

All things considered though…Kippo could still work for someone who doesn’t mind putting up with subpar design elements and wonky navigation systems; however even then it probably wouldn’t do anything more than satisfy their basic needs for online dating purposes – no bells or whistles here folks! In other words: unless your expectations are incredibly low already…you should definitely look elsewhere before committing yourself to this one.

User Profiles

After trying out Kippo, I have to say that it’s not the dating site for me. The user profiles are public so anyone can view them and there isn’t an option to set a custom bio. Plus, you can’t hide your location info either which is kind of a bummer if you don’t want people knowing where exactly you live or work. And speaking of locations, there was no indication as far as how close someone may be in proximity; making it hard to narrow down potential matches near me!

Also, what really irked me about this site were all the fake profiles floating around – they seem like they never get taken down! Not only did these bogus accounts take away from my experience but also made finding genuine connections more difficult than ever before… talk about discouraging!

As far as benefits go with having a premium subscription on Kippo – nada zilch zip zero!! It just wasn’t worth spending money on something that didn’t offer anything extra special compared to other sites out there who actually give back by offering discounts and exclusive perks for memberships… yeah definitely not impressed here at all folks!!!

All in all Kippo is nothing short of disappointing when it comes to online dating experiences – unless maybe if trolling others’ profile pics is your thing? But hey even then why bother going through such trouble when Instagram does the same job better?! So save yourself some time (and frustration) and skip over this one entirely because trust me-it ain’t worth ya while!!

Kippo features

Ugh, Kippo. Where do I even begin? It’s one of those dating sites that just makes you want to roll your eyes and groan in frustration.

Let’s start with the free features – they’re so basic it almost feels like a slap in the face! You can create an account, upload photos, search for matches and send winks or messages – but there are no filters available whatsoever! That means if you’re looking for someone specific (like age range or location) then good luck trying to find them on this site. And don’t get me started on their messaging system; all conversations take place within a single chat window which is really annoying because you have to scroll through endless pages of text every time you want to reply back! Plus half the time when I try sending something it never gets delivered anyway… talk about frustrating!! The paid version isn’t much better either; sure they give access to more advanced searching options but that doesn’t help when most people using Kippo aren’t active anymore anyways. So basically what we’ve got here is an outdated platform with limited functionality at best – not exactly inspiring confidence now is it?!

As far as unique features go…well let’s just say there ain’t none worth mentioning unfortunately (unless waiting around forever counts!). The only thing remotely interesting about this site would be its ‘Icebreaker’ feature where users can play mini-games together before starting up a conversation…but honestly who has time for games these days!? All in all though my verdict remains unchanged: avoid Kippo unless absolutely necessary!!

  • Comprehensive profile system with detailed questions to help users find their perfect match
  • Matchmaking algorithm to suggest compatible matches based on user preferences
  • Secure messaging system to ensure privacy and safety of conversations
  • Ability to block and report suspicious users
  • Photo verification process to verify the authenticity of user profiles

Security & Safety

When it comes to safety and security, Kippo is not exactly a top-notch dating app. While they claim that their verification process is thorough, there’s no real evidence of this. It doesn’t seem like they’re doing much to fight against bots or fake accounts either – so if you want your online dating experience to be as safe as possible then Kippo isn’t the way forward.

The photos are also not manually reviewed which means anyone can upload anything without any kind of scrutiny – leaving users vulnerable when it comes to inappropriate content being shared on the platform. And even though they have a privacy policy in place, I’m still skeptical about how secure our data really is with them! Plus there’s no two-step verification option available which makes me think twice before using this app for my own personal use…

All in all, I wouldn’t recommend Kippo for those who value safety and security while looking for love online; because let’s face it: You don’t want just anybody getting access into your private life! So unless you’re willing take risks with regards your information (which frankly nobody should do), steer clear from giving this one a go…

Pricing

If you’re looking for a dating site, Kippo isn’t the way to go. Sure, it looks great on paper – but when it comes down to actually paying up, they charge an arm and a leg! Not only that, but their prices aren’t even competitive with other sites out there.

For starters: if you want access to all of Kippo’s features (which let’s face it – who doesn’t?), then prepare yourself for some serious sticker shock! You’ll be shelling out anywhere from $9-$35 per month depending on how long your subscription is… yikes! And don’t expect any discounts either; no matter what kind of deal or promotion they offer at first glance – once you get into the nitty gritty details -you won’t find much relief in terms of cost savings.

That said though: if money isn’t really an issue for you and price tag aside-Kippo does have its perks as far as online dating goes; like having detailed profile information so users can easily match themselves with potential partners based off interests & lifestyle choices etc., plus lots more options than most free services provide… But still I wouldn’t recommend taking this route unless absolutely necessary because honestly? There are better deals elsewhere that won’t break the bank so why bother?

Kippo is a dating site that’s really just a waste of time. It doesn’t have any real features and it’s not even user friendly. Plus, the matches you get are usually way off base so there’s no point in using it at all.

No way, Kippo is a total waste of money. It’s full of fake profiles and the customer service is terrible. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for an online dating experience.
